Shortlisted for the Rural Community Ownership Awards

The Tally is up for yet another award! The Tally Ho and Littlehempston Community Pub Limited is one of three finalists in the South West of England category of the Community Ownership Awards 2016!

The awards are run by the Plunkett Foundation, a national charity who support people, predominantly in rural areas, to set up and run life-changing community co-operatives and who were a great help in getting our organisation going. Part of our application read “Things that seem impossible can be achieved through working together and pooling different skills. That’s probably the most important impact locally. We now have a community who are used to pulling together and seeing results.”

The winners in each of the nine regional categories will be announced at the awards ceremony on Monday 28 November at the Millbank Tower in London. Keep your fingers crossed for the Tally Ho!
