The Royal Duchy was a named train in the 1950’s. It will be drawn by 46100 ‘Royal Scot’. Royal Scot was built in 1927 for the fastest trains on the London, Midland and Scottish railway (LMS).

The Royal Duchy should be passing the Tally Ho southwards (towards Totnes and Plymouth) at about midday and returning at about 7.30pm.
