The Atlantic Coast Express will be drawn by 34046 “Braunton” and 5029 “Nunney Castle”. Brunton is a “Bulleid Pacific” design express passenger engine, a member of the “West Country” Class, built in 1946 at Brighton Works. Nunney Castle is a Castle class 4-6-0, built at Swindon in 1934 by the Great Western Railway (GWR).
The Atlantic Coast Express should be passing the Tally Ho northwards (towards Newton Abbot) at about 1.05pm.
