This is a historic occasion and one not to be missed. It’s also a great chance to appreciate and support all the effort that has gone into getting the Tally back on its feet.
The Totnes Band will set the scene, our local MP, Sarah Wollaston, will cut the ribbon and then it’s into the Tally for cake and a raising of glasses! It would be great to have a good crowd, standing outside for the press photographers. Every little helps !
Entertainment in the beer garden will come courtesy of local singer Liz Jeffry and friends (another generous contribution from local people). To cap it all, The Cornishman pulled by two steam engines travelling from London to Truro will pass by at around 5.30pm. A very traditional day!
How about having lunch at the Tally in between Bargain in the Barn and this re-opening ? Or possibly dinner afterwards? Book early to avoid disappointment!
