Roll up! Roll up! The Cirkus Spectakular awaits… Suitable for over 4’s and families, this Villages in Action event is a magical tale woven by puppet masters from the Angel Heart Theatre. Led by the mysterious Baba Kalina, it is a colourful, topsy turvy world played out in a wandering marquee of dreams. But for one little boy, it becomes more than just a magical show. Cirkus Spectakular offers Pavlo the chance to prove himself and at last to feel like he belongs. Drawing colours and sounds from Eastern Europe, Cirkus Spectakular explores what it means to be outside the box, yet how we can all find a way to be a part of a circle. Zany and hilarious, yet tender and touching this is a show for all the family to share. Magical tale woven by the puppet masters.
During the show, there are “special effects” and even more exciting … audience participation. The children will be asked to volunteer to help with some of the circus acts. At the end of the performance, there’s a “Meet the Puppets” session, which can turn into a mini-show in itself!
There’ll be cakes for all plus squash for the young ones and wine for the adults.
Adults £6, Children £4.50 and a Family ticket is £18 (2 Adults and 2 Children).
This event will actually take place in the Community Space – St John’s Church which has been cleverly adapted so that it can be used for much more than just Church services. The Community Space is just along the road from the Tally Ho. You can find out more about Cirkus Spectakular by clicking on this link to the Littlehempston website.
