Lots of changes for the better at the Tally recently – the chimneys have been cleaned, repaired and re-lined, and a brand new wood burning stove warms the bar, a fire alarm system has been installed and a lovely new till, and other changes have been made to bring this historic watering hole up to scratch on the fire safety front. Work has started on making the electrical system conform to modern standards. Wonderful volunteers have pointed and painted. A huge thank you to the talented team led by Anna Ash that have made the much admired new cushions!
