Investors' Meeting

We’re holding another meeting for investors, potential investors, and supporters of Littlehempston Community Pub Ltd. (LCPL) on Tuesday 30th July at 7.30 pm in Littlehempston Church

If you want to see the Tally Ho re-opened and are thinking of buying shares in LCPL, but have got some questions, or you’d like to meet the people behind the project – then this meeting’s for you.

And if you’ve already bought shares in LCPL then this meeting’s for you too ! Work has started on plans for the look and feel, the menu and drinks offering, of a re-opened Tally Ho, but it’s important that all the shareholders – the members – of LCPL get the opportunity to contribute to the plans for their pub.

Bays Brewery has kindly agreed to provide a barrel of beer for us to sample, and we’re hoping to have some wines and other drinks available to try too.

Hope to see you there – cheers !

Dr Sarah Wollaston MP drops by the Tally Ho

Sarah Wollaston at the Tally HoLocal MP, Dr Sarah Wollaston, is a fan of the pub having visited on bike rides with her husband. She dropped by recently to lend her support and enthused, “This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a wonderful community scheme”. Sarah’s helping to get the word out by sharing Tally Ho news with her Twitter followers.

There's still time to buy a share !

It’s not too late to invest in the Tally Ho !  Shares in Littlehempston Community Pub Limited are still selling so the management committee have decided to extend the Share Offer and keep on raising the money to buy the pub.  We’ve submitted a realistic offer closely based on the professional valuation and full survey that we had earlier this year.

The moratorium that was granted under the Community Right to Bid has ended now, but we believe that no other serious offers have been made, possibly due to an asking price that is certainly higher than our valuation indicated.

So the chances of buying the Tally Ho are good.  Now we need the money in the bank to back up our offer and get it considered seriously.

Another new face on the Management Committee

LCPL’s management committee co-opted a new member at its last meeting. She’s Sandra Law, and you can read a little about her on our Who we are page. Sandra is another Littlehempston resident and brings yet more energy and enthusiasm to the committee. Welcome Sandra!
